 Gunnar recently found this lovely photo. It is from one of the first shows during the early days of dressage in Florida. Gunnar reflects that the jumping "season" had been going on for some years. One of his clients, Mr. F. Eugene Dixon and his daughter Ellin, were living in Florida during the winter, and Gunnar asked if he could take his dressage horses down as well. The idea was welcomed and was the start of the Florida "Dressage Season" as we know it today! Gunnar and Birgit are true "Dressage Pioneers"! |
